Somebody has to live in these places, and the people we meet here do it with grace, especially Ella, who is poetry in motion. Not once does the viewer feel that the people who inhabit this Nebraska outback are wasting away their days and nights like a hick who's tipped a few cows in his lifetime. This film gets away with a potentially bum note because it respects people who live in small towns. The film received generally positive reviews.

"Tully" would still be a gem without the melodrama. Its a hellish, numbing experience to watch, and it doesnt offer any insights that havent been thoroughly debated in the media. Tom Snyder DAHMER is a confused look into the evil mind of the gruesome cannibal and serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who was killed in 1994 while serving a life sentence in prison. It's unnecessary, but well-done and absolutely plausible. "Tully" is so understated, you're never completely cognizant to the oncoming tragedy, even though the filmmaker sets it up in full-view. "Tully" could've just been about this unlikely love affair between a good girl and a bad boy, but it's also about family secrets and the financial strain which plagues a heartland farmer. The latest film hails from Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, with the Radio Silence duo reuniting with the horror-comedy's co-writer Guy Busick and producer James Vanderbilt for the script. That's what gives this quietly amazing film its tension. First Scream reactions are pouring in and critics are raving about the new chapter of the horror series, praising the cast and honoring of its legacy.

What drives "Tully" is the luminous work of Julianne Nicholson, who you hope doesn't get her heart broken by the titular character, played by Anson Mount. The film makers have to walk a very fine line of showing the monster, while also making him sympathetic, but not too sympathetic.
